On Monday the administration of the Russian music store AllOFMP3 was very surprised when the IFPI shared the news with the press that AllOFMP3 had a European office.

During a night raid to a private apartment the British police had arrested an unidentified 25-year-old British man who, as the IFPI and BPI claim was selling vouchers for buying music from the ALLOFMP3 online store. The arrested Londoner was hastily declared an employee of the European office of AllOFMP3.

The AllOFMP3 administration reiterates that the store has never had any activities outside Russia. Thus we do not have any offices or employees abroad. AllOFMP3 operates in full compliance with Russian legislation and pays the necessary royalties to the rightholders and authors.

Allofmp3cash.com is a scam site. It will not top up your balance. They are cheating on you getting your personal information. Please cancel all your payments and change your account password.

An attempt by the major record labels to use a U.S. court to as part of its campaign against AllofMP3.com is imprudent.
 
AllofMP3 understands that several US record label companies filed a lawsuit against Mediaservices in New York. This suit is unjustified as AllofMP3.com does not operate in New York. Certainly the labels are free to file any suit they wish, despite knowing full well that AllofMP3.com operates legally in Russia.

In the mean time, AllofMP3.com plans to continue to operate legally and comply with all Russian laws.

The awards went to the best new as well established Australian musicians in various style and genre nominations.

On October 17 Vadim Mamotin, Director of MediaServices, the company which owns AllOFMP3.com, and Ilya Levitov, Press Secretary of MediaServices held a 1,5h on-line conference and were answering questions from journalists of major foreign news agencies, news papers and magazines. More than 80 questions were submitted, 2/3 of which were answered during the conference. Soon a press kit for media will be created on the basis of these questions. The AllOFMP3.com team is proud to present a new service - Music for Masses!

Music for Masses is a program player for listening to music from the AllOFMP3.com catalogue for free. At the moment the player is being tested and is available to users in an alfa-version. To listen to a song a user should have an account with the site, download and install the Music for Masses player and download the song in free mode. The only limitation is that connection to the Internet is necessary. Initially the program is available for Microsoft Windows. A MAC version will come out in few weeks.

The AllOfMP3.com Administration will open free access to the music catalogue. In such mode users will see advertisements while browsing the site and listening to music. The quality of downloads will be comparable to that of FM radio or a tape recording. Around 600 000 tracks will be available for free access at AllOfMP3.com soon.

Such tracks will be protected from copying. It won’t be possible to send them or put in a digital player. At the same it will be possible to buy tracks without protection.

This free service is being set up to encourage users to stop using pirate sites.

The Electronic Commerce Committee (NAUET) is going to protest against the campaign launched by IFPI to discredit Russian e-business, said the Chairman of the Committee, Pavel Vrublevsky, at a recent press-conference. He described the recent PR campaign of IFPI as a tool used to reshape Russian music market and harm reputation of Russian business.

IFPI accuses of "piracy" a Russian music store AllOfMP3.com and a number of other sites. However, these businesses operate legally on the basis of licenses issued by societies for collective rights management in full compliance with the Copyright Law.
